Where are you located?
We are located on the corner of Broadway and Esselstyne Streets in downtown Cape Vincent, NY. Located “Where Lake and River Meet” in the beautiful 1000 Islands, Cape Vincent was originally the home of the Haudenosaunee, the indigenous people dubbed the Iroquois by the French missionaries who came to the area in the early 17th century. To this day, the history of the region plays an important role in our community, as seen in the annual French Festival.

Is your pottery strictly decorative, or can we use it?
This is durable stoneware, meant to be used and enjoyed! All pieces are microwave, dishwasher, and oven-safe, and all glazes are 100% lead-free.

How much does shipping cost?
Because every pottery order is handmade based on your custom order, we do not charge shipping at the time of purchase. However, you will be charged at time of shipping based on the weight of your completed order. Questions? Please don’t hesitate to contact us at chateauontheriver@gmail.com.
